Strength in Community

Impact in Service

Making a Difference

Since its establishment as a fraternal benefit society in 1928, Polish Falcons of America has been a purveyor of social connection, charity, and higher education within the Polish American community and beyond. These values are encapsulated in the words, "Strength in Community. Impact in Service."

PFA supports Members through various grants and financial assistance programs, ensuring that those in need have a helping hand in challenging times.

Member Benefits

Member Benefits

PFA offers support to Members who have been affected by a natural disaster. Eligible Members who need assistance with damages incurred during a recent natural disaster are welcome to submit a claim from the Disaster Relief Fund. The maximum benefit payable is $500.

Disaster Relief Fund

The Member Assistance Fund is for PFA Members in need of cash due to illness, injury, or other calamities. When a Nest conducts a function, activity, or project that produces financial aid for one of its Members, National Headquarters matches that amount up to a maximum of $500.

Member Assistance Fund

Orphan Benefit & Educational Fund

PFA provides a monthly income of $100 to age 18 for an orphaned child who is a Member, with at least one parent who was a Member. Also, if the child enrolls as a full-time student in an institution of higher education, PFA will provide a benefit of $800 per year for a maximum of four years.

IMPACT! Program

PFA proudly offers opportunities for Members to engage in meaningful community service projects and fundraisers, fostering a spirit of unity and generosity, while making a positive difference in the lives of others.

PFA’s IMPACT! Program encourages Members to make an impact in their local community. Members support a cause of their choice by completing a project or organizing a fundraising event. Once approved, National Headquarters provides the Member with a grant of up to $150.

Since the launch of the IMPACT! Program in 2023, Members have spearheaded numerous charitable initiatives and fundraising events across nine states. These efforts have supported a variety of causes, benefiting children in foster care, animal shelters, breast cancer research, food pantries, and many others.

Scholarship Programs

Since 1962, PFA has awarded over 1,000 scholarships, empowering Members to pursue their educational aspirations.

Richard C. Gorecki Scholarship Program

The Richard C. Gorecki Scholarship Program is named after a longtime PFA Member who generously bequeathed a portion of his estate for educational purposes. Three grants of $10,000 are given to eligible Members who exemplify high academic standards and leadership qualities.

Dr. T.A. Starzynski Scholarship Program

The Dr. T.A. Starzynski Scholarship Program awards scholarships to deserving Falcon Members aspiring to attend institutions of higher learning. One $4,000 grant and multiple $1,500 grants are awarded to eligible Members. In addition, a $100 donation is made in the recipient’s name to a charity of their choice.

Nest 92 Certification Program

This program, created with funds donated by the former Nest 92, provides a grant of $250 to Members who need to take classes and obtain a certificate for professional improvement.

Amplify Your Giving Power

Leave a Legacy with Life Insurance.

Did you know you can name a charitable organization as a beneficiary of your PFA life insurance policy or annuity? This act supports a cause that resonates with you and reinforces our collective commitment as a fraternal to giving back and community service.

Your charitable contribution can have a profound impact on your community. For instance, a PFA Member's decision to name their church as a beneficiary allowed for crucial repairs to its roof, demonstrating how one’s generosity can directly enhance the lives of others. This is more than just a donation; it's a way to make a difference and leave a legacy that reflects your values and commitment to your community.
